After a fairly decent lay-in, we set off around 10am :o
We needed to start our journey back towards the mainland via another stop off at Campbell River to break up the journey.
First things first, fuel... They even do that strange here. You have to pay before you top up!
Along the journey we thought we would break up the journey by doing a hike that we saw on our journey north. A nice leisurely stroll, or so we thought.
It was fairly steep and mostly up hill to start off, a nice 6-7mile walk.., but boy was the view worth it when you got to the top! A fantastic view of Seymour Narrow - the body of water separating Vancouver Island from the smaller neighbouring islands - and the surrounding landscape.
We then headed our way back down to head to the hotel, luckily only another 40 min drive from there, where we had another nice ocean view room.
After a freshen up we headed our way downstairs to eat our tea whilst watching the Harbour Seals again.
